Kühtai

Ski Area

At 2020m, Kühtai is one of the highest ski villages in Austria. Due to its high-altitude, the resort is very snowsure and it has excellent snow-making facilities which cover around 80% of the slopes. With vast off-piste terrain, many people head here to explore the powder, so grab yourself a guide and go! Although not considered a beginners resort, it has a couple of great beginner areas complete with nursery slopes. Intermediates have around 26km of red runs to play on so there is more than enough to keep you busy! There are also a few challenging black runs so if you're up for it, take the HoheMut - the longest black run in the resort.

Less than an hour from Innsbruck, Kühtai is a little ski in/ski out village which is perfect for a romantic ski getaway. Due to its link with the OlympiaWorld ski pass, it means you can explore the 8 ski resorts around Innsbruck. Most of the après ski takes place around hotels and restaurants, you can also take a sleigh ride around the village or get involved with some night tobogganing on the 2.5km purpose built run.
