Pas de la Casa is renowned as being the party capital of Andorra. Generally buzzing with a younger crowd and groups of skiers out to have a good time, Pas de la Casa's evening atmosphere certainly is lively. So yes, it has been described as the Ibiza of the mountains, and yes, it has some of the best bars, clubs and apres ski you will probably ever experience, but Pas de la Casa is much more than just a party town. Amazing snow, awesome snow parks and endless linked valleys that offer 123 runs will fill your days with endless fun.
In Pas de la Casa you will have access to the Grandvalira ski area, which includes 210km of skiing with runs reaching 2640 metres. With the Grandvalira ski pass you can ski in Graud Roig, El Tarter and the Canilo ski area - so you will have plenty of slopes to explore. For beginners and intermediates, there is the Pas de le Casa ski and snowboard school which is well recognised for being an extremely high standard of instruction and for their large amount of English speaking instructors.
Pas de la Casa is a convenient resort with all facilities located around the central base lifts. This car-free area is great for a hassle free trip as everything is within walking distance from each other. Pop your skis off at the end of the day and head straight to a bar of restaurant, just seconds walk away. You will find everything is that little bit cheaper as the duty free prices keep the cost of your beers, lunches and shopping down!
Be sure not to miss the awesome Igloo hotel, located up at Grau Roig. Wrap up warm and spend the night in a hotel made entirely of ice. If your toes do get on the cold side then warm up in one of the hotel's jacuzzis. This offers great access to the slopes as you can enjoy the first run of the day before everyone else gets up!
